A Bit About Vox
Founded in 1998, Vox has since grown from strength-to-strength. Starting out as a national internet and
voice service provider known as the DataPro Group, in 2005, the company acquired a handful of successful
acquisitions – most notably @lantic (a consumer-focused ISP), and Orion Telecom (the biggest Least Cost
Routing [LCR] provider in the country). Two years later, rebranded as Vox, we positioned ourselves as an
end-to-end telco and ICT integrator. Now, over a decade later, Vox has prospered into a major player in the
ICT and telecoms field – we achieved a R2-billion turnover in 2017 alone.
Vox is one of the largest black-owned telecommunications companies in the country. Our main shareholders
include Investec, Metier, and Rand Merchant Bank (RMB).
Vox Fibre’s end-to-end fibre optic connection over an established, high-speed network (from 10Mbps to 10Gbps), allows you to bring data, voice, video and IP-based products together into a converged solution for your business.
Fat Pipe Business Fibre is their range of fibre broadband bundles for companies with high demands for quality performance. Designed to give you the best value for money, they have combined high speed fibre connectivity and uncapped IP Telephony to increase productivity and significantly reduce your overall communication costs for your business. Vox uses the Active ethernet technology to provide you with the best Fibre to the Business experience.
A Passion For Excellence
Vox has an enviable track record of meeting the needs of thousands of consumers, SMEs, large corporates,
and public sector organisations. Thanks to our dedicated staff of more than 1 500 people – and our several
hundred business partners countrywide – we set the benchmark for service delivery by connecting people
through best of breed technology.
The central hub of Vox’s customer support operations is the Vox Service Centre (VTSC). It is a
24/7/365 operation that acts as the first point of contact for our business and consumer customers.
Based in Centurion, Gauteng, the Service Centre not only offers prompt and professional support but also
continuously monitors all of Vox’s networks and infrastructure to ensure that the highest level of quality
of service is always maintained.
The Vox Footprint is Nationwide
Our teams are situated in 13 strategically positioned locations across the country, supported by our
extensive business partner footprint. Our telco network extends throughout South Africa, with complete
redundancy on submarine cables along both the East and West coasts, as well as dual PoPs in London,
and multiple presences in the Teraco environment. We are therefore well-positioned to keep our customers
switched on at all times.
